Forged and ground from an old leaf spring. My biggest yet.

OAL: 16 5/8"
Blade: 11", fully convexed
Cocobolo scales
Peened steel pins

Full size bic for size comparison.

Some wicked looking serrations I filed into the spine.

Sorry, the pics arent too quality from my phone but, it's all I got. This is my 6th completed knife by the way. Tell me what you think!

what kind of steel? I am not fond of sawback spines, but like the profile.

If you have a forge, you should be able to save yourself a ton of grinding.

Thanks Rio.

Jake - I haven't gotten to test the teeth on rope or anything except for wood...yet. They are sharp but don't work well as a wood saw. I think they just add more to the badass factor.

Rat - Unknown steel. It was a leaf spring. Seems to be good stuff.
The forge did save a lot of grinding but I changed and corrected a lot of things on this knife along the way. The sawback was actually an accident.

Thanks guys. Did some field testing and this blade can hold an edge! Chopped through a hard dry fallen tree about 6" diameter and it still shaves hair. Sweet.
