Blade steel: 5160 1/4" stock
Blade length: 9 3/4"
Overall length: 15"
Handle: Bubinga wood
Fittings: mild steel
Sheath: leather (still needs to be made)
Price: I thought about it last night and decided to take this one out of sale. I'm not 100% happy with this handle material. It's my first time using bubinga and I don't think I like it. I worked real hard on such a nice blade and it deserves a nicer handle. I'm going to rehandle this and put it back up when it's done probably this weekend.
Thanks,
-Ray

Ray, very nice, I like the blade profile a lot!

I'd like a couple of additional info, if possible .... I cannot really judge from the pics, is the top clip sharp or is that a false edge? Also, is this a stock removal or a forged piece?

Thanks,

Guido

Thanks for the comments guys. I thought about it last night and I've decided to change the handle on this knife. It's my first time using bubinga and I realize I don't like it:( . I'm going to go with somethin I've used before. I'll have it back up when it's done probably this weekend.
Guido, the grinds on the clip meet but the angle is too wide for it to be sharp...it's a false edge. Also, all my knives are done by stock removal. Thanks,
-Ray

I'd have Bought it Just the way it was.I liked the handle. But I'd like First Dibs on it when you Redo the Handle.
Thanks,
Buddy S.

Good call on re-handling the knife, Ray. Based on the pics, the handle looks fine in and of itself. However, it somehow doesn't quite meld with the knife as a whole.

I love that blade profile

Ray... what are you planning to use as a new handle material? I'm sure you'll make it look superb!!! (not that I didn't like it as it is now...)
