Weighing in at over a pound, this is a full quarter inch of D2 goodness.

Catch and release - I'm the 2nd owner. First owner reported having carried it once, otherwise never used. I personally have not carried or used it.
The micarta feels like it's been fondled a bit, the blade is flawless.

Impressions:
Hefty, brutal and grin-inducing. The sculpted micarta is attractive and unusual; rustic with a fair bit of depth and variation.
Was a little skeptical about all the jimping and cut-outs on the blade/handle at first, but they make sense in the hand. The large cut out on the blade is for the thumb in the most forward grip using the finger choil. The more traditionally jimped part of the spine works for a neutral grip without the choil, and the long handle would let you chop nicely too. The holes drilled in the blade provide an option to attach a wrist lanyard for extra safety. I was also impressed with the sheath; it's not very refined looking, but there is an additional piece of kydex between the sheath and the clip which serves to angle the blade out from the hip when mounted. It functions a bit like a dangler and is in some ways an improvement. The style reminds me a lot of Tactical Pterodactyl Knives, but even more brutalist. You'll see similar heavy jimping on TPK, but they tend to knock the edges off just a bit for comfort, unlike here. This would make a serious outdoors, camp or survival knife. It's just a little too close in size & function to my Carothers SDFK for me to justify keeping it. I'm trying to hold myself to a reasonably size knife collection.
