Am I missing something?
Does the number mean anything other than it has different slabs.![]()
.
I believe I read it was the absolute last of the snakeskin.
In one of your previous posts you mentioned wanting something "machete" like. The CGNMFBM is thinner than most of the NMFBM le's, so it would make a better machete, but not a good one, IMO. From personal experience with my FFBM's and even the lighter CG FBM's they are too heavy to use as machetes... efficiently that is. The inertia produced by such knives is very great, and should be taken into consideration, and respected. I find swinging my 2lb. FFBM at hanging vegetation or brush, scary. There's nothing in light vegetation to absorb (and slow down) the beasts energy, and if you're fatigued or careless... you're BM could end up in your thigh as a result.
So, if you want a machete like tool I'd recommend a Ruck, if you can find one... before I do.
Long story short, I recommend the CGFBM, it's all the mistress I need.
I'll second the recommendation of an NMSFNO, especially since you can still grab one new from Busse for $327.00. It should do everything you need and more.
