Cable Dagger by Kerry and Matt Stagmer

This is another piece that we had made to sell at the Chesapeake Knife Show.
This is 3 bars of cable welded up into the blade.
The guard is forged from the same bar of wrought as the Tristan guard.
The handle is hand flutted hard oak with a light stain.
The pommel is a spiral facted mushroom.
16" blade. 21.5" OAL

Retail $850
Christmas special $650
 
Looks great, I would classify it as closer to a dirk than a dagger.
 
Yea it is border line shortsword/dagger. I like to say dagger untill we hit the 20" blade length. I would call this a large dueling dagger.

You can call it whatever you like for $650 :D

Thanks boss. It really did come together quite nice.

Thought I would mention that If a potential buyer wanted the pommel darkened down that we would be happy to do that free of charge.
