Big Camp Chopper

Here's a Big Camp Chopper, forged from 80CRV2. The blade is 8 1/2" from the tip to the guard. The handle is 5 1/2" from the guard to the butt. The handle has a micarta frame with 4 internal pins. The scales are walnut with a micarta guard. A brass pin goes through both handles. Handles are held on with epoxy. The blade has a slight forged recurve in it and has been bead blasted, which I have found to be a very durable finish. It is flat ground with a convex edge. The balance point is right in front of the guard. The spine is 1/4". Just in front of the guard it has a drastic distal taper to the tip. There are some hammer marks on the blade, up near the spine (see photo).
