Big Changes coming to the Swamp. All models will be receiving a "facelift" after the first of the year. And some of the current models will be coming to an end in their current configurations. If you would like a Battle Rat or Camp Tramp in it's current configurations, I would order it ASAP (within the next 1-2 hours)

I don't suppose you can give us any details ? I have noted the trend over the last several offerings to have micarta handles on everything. Res C isn't going away, is it ? That would definitely get my attention.

Are they cosmetic changes or something more significant?
 
You sure know how to force a guys hand....I'm in! Been meaning to get a Battle Rat all along...

It is a most useful knife. It's been said before, but I'll say it again, great product, great value.

yea thats my only real concern. I think if the new CT and BR come with micarta handles the price probably will be higher...

I vote for optional handle material... I mean handle material optional.... :foot: I mean buyer chooses handle material:D

We must remember, all, that this is the swamp that resiprine built. I don't think it'll ever fully go away. After all, Wauseon has to contend with that small but vocal group here who actually USE their knives.

I don't think the CT will go to a micarta handle. That pretty much is what the Ratweiler is already.

How about a BR with a resp handle, but a crinkle coated knuckle guard. Kinda like a budget minded Argonne Assault.
 
Bring back MUDDERS!!!!

Sorry been using my Bog Dog a lot lately and the mudders are so cool.

I want mudders on everything...Battle Rat, Camp Tramp...Hell Raz...oh wait...wrong forum...:D
 
I'm new to the SR experience. I have two on their way and one is on order? Sorry but what is this "mudder" you speak of?

Mudders are the textured res-c handles on the bog dog. They are much more comfy than the regular res-c. IMHO!
