Here's a big new chopper with a forge finish. It is differentially heat treated and has a hamon that is visable, but I did not etch the blade to make it stand out. The handle is mortised, and the spacer behind the guard is a true ferrule.

Blade: 1095
Guard and ferrule: wrought iron
Handle: Hawaiian Koa
Blade length: 11"
Overall length: 16"
Width: 2.3" at the widest point
Thickness 0.25"

I'm asking $350 which includes sheath and shipping CONUS. Thanks for looking. SOLD

I can tell y'all that Mr. Loveday's pictures are nice but do not do justice to this incredible knife......the attention to detail, fit and finish is most excellent.

The seam for the mortised handle is virtually invisable, the Koa is stunning, and the balance is superb for what this beast is intended for....
