Perfect steel choice for a Combat blade S7 = Shock Steel with Vanadium for Uber toughness take s a screaming sharp edge :}
Well done!

That's a nice bowie, Chris. A real beast. S7 steel at that thickness could move a mountain. And I like the lines you gave it. The ergos look excellent, and the balance should make it the chopper from hell.

Thanks Guys.
This is a beast of a knife. I intended it to be very heavy duty and durable but not unwieldy to use. The balance point is right in the middle of the plunge cut.
It really does not feel like such a large knife when held in the hand.
