This might be deal spotting but he is a knifemaker here on blade forums and is TOP notch.

If you have never had a handmade knife then you will be BLOWN away. Give Chris a chance and take advantage of a hell of a sale for an amazing knife!

I have one of his knives, and another on the way and they don't fail to impress.

Just sent him a email on 1 of his knives. I absolutely love helping out small business owners and this is just the push I needed to add a Big Chris custom to my collection.

Awesome , you won't be disappointed. Cutting performance out of this world.

My only experience with Big Chris was when I sent in a knife for a regrind. That was the sharpest edge I've ever encountered to date.

When he says a knife has a thin razor sharp cutting edge, he sure means it.

His knives are what got me hooked on optimal cutting geometry.

Chris's knives are awesome. Extremely well crafted, amazing cutters, well worth the full price. I hope this sale clears his inventory - he has some great ones available, including a few I have been eyeing since he posted them. I wish my budget fit my wants!!

I completely agree, unfortunately bills suck and my knife allowance is small.

Yep Big Chris is where it's at. I have more of his work than any other maker, production or custom, and all are fantastic. His scales extremely comfortable, his heat treat on in demand steels(M2, 4V, 10V, PD1) is spot on and the grinds/edges are efficient. Hope to pick up more in the future.

Damn I'd like to try big Chris blades in pd1 and 4v!

I got one in 3v right now and one in xhp on the way.

I haven't seen one in PD1 but I would love a wolverine in that steel. I have one in 4V and like all of his knives, it cuts like a laser.

The wolverine's always appeal to me, I have his personal edc model and I liked it so much I bought another personal edc in different handle material and steel.

That's one of the best things about big Chris blades, he uses top notch steels and heat treats them for excellent performance. Having them ground thin and cut like a laser is icing on the cake.

BC makes great stuff and is really focused cutting on performance which is nice in comparison to the current sharpened prybar trend. Love the current sale prices but I'm at the point where I need to sell something to buy one [emoji30]

I've got a dozen or so of Big Chris Knives, in various steels. From what I have, the steel choice is irrelevant because each knife is made for the optimum cutting performance. I like that he uses different steels that appeal to me, as well as the handle material. I've got the Koa in XHP, if there ever was a grail in a fixed blade for me, this one is it. I just picked up a hunter in 10V and am really impressed with it. His 4V knives are simply bad to the bone.
Not counting the fillet and cooks companion knives I've requested, my next Big Chris knife will be in 3V.
I won't even get into how impressive his kitchen knives are.

I know how ya feel, it sucks.

I can just imagine the cutting performance of his kitchen knives, also I love 3v and Chris does it extremely well.
