For sale is a Big Chris Wolverine in CPM M4. I absolutely love this knife, but I want one of the field grade Adventure Sworns, and I don't have the budget for both.
The edge is easy to maintain with strop and a compound, and the CPM M4 really holds an edge. This is a knife Chris made for the '14 Blade Show. The handle has a very nice fit and finish, while the blade has some grind marks and imperfections. The blade isn't 100% on the finish (just as I received it, from Big Chris directly), but this thing is a light saber. The blade is thin, lightweight, yet tough. The handle is among the most comfortable I've held; I have large hands, and being able to use the knife for a long time is extremely important to me.
First "I'll take it" gets the knife. I'll ship within one business day of receiving payment, and I will send tracking upon returning from the post office. $50 of insurance is included - any extra is on the buyer.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for looking!
Sold
*Note - I also have this knife listed on BushcraftUSA, so someone can snag it there without saying "I'll take it" on this forum. Thanks.
Specs:
.105" CPM M4
~62-64RC
9.8" OAL
5.06" blade
Very slight convex sabre grind to a very thin convexed edge
Very nicely figured dyed Box Elder Burl scales
Carbon fiber pins and tube
Comes with a heavy tooled black leather sheath by Big Chris
Stropped to ~4,000 grit on my strop - it will be damn sharp when it arrives.
