Look what I found .............. There are lots of granite and marble factories and mines around me .............how I didn't think of it before is not clear to me !
This is / probably glass/ composite wheel , 32 inch Dia. and a little over two inch wide .I have hub also and tomorrow I will take another one 40 inch Dia in Aluminium .....That aluminium one is still mounted on motor, 55KW and 800 or 900 RPM i forget....which mean over 40 m/s .I will use one of them after i see both which one is better for this .This composite one is pretty light weight but i don t know for now about aluminium one ...I didn t have right tools with me to get it out of the motor .
Building grinder would be easy ...just other one wheel which will be for tracking and for tension .
For now i like more this one , I can get rid of that bolts which are M12 /saving weight/ and glue that part and I can use and glue G10 /12mm/ pins instead of screws.....
What I have no idea is motor .....how much HP I will need ? I believe that 2 or 3 HP motor would be enough ? Transmission from motor to wheel over two belts...I have one 3HP motor on 900 RPM , with right ratio I can make it about 25 m/s which is right what I want . And probably I will need some kind of brake to stop this thing ?
PS . I saw 80 inch Dia. wheel there ..........Old one , ready for scrap yard
