The other day I posted pics of my CSC Kabar Coppersmith Barlow. I love the copper bolsters, the dog's-head shield and how they are gaining a rich patina. I also made an offhand remark about how that would look good next to a copper flashlight, but I didn't think anything more of it at the time.
Well, Paul did and he asked for my address, saying he had just the flashlight to go with it! He went well out of his way to be considerate and offer something I had admired but not (yet) actively searched for. A very big thank you Paul, it arrived, is beautiful, and the patina is an exceptional compliment to the Barlow. The flashlight is on my keyring now, and will accompany me when I carry the Barlow (and will accompany me no matter what I carry :thumbup:
).
