Sometimes a knife just couldn't feel more right in your hand. This is one of those knives. Something about the balance (between the front pin and ricasso), and the grip shape and dimensions, makes it oh so controllable with just a little something words don't quite describe. It just feels "Right".

Steel: 1095 from Kelly Cupples, HT by me, quenched in Parks 50, Tempered to 57-58HRC
Blade: High flat ground, distal taper, 5.25" long and 3/16" thick at the ricasso. Hand rubbed to 1000 grit. Forge scale flats. 20LPI thumb jimping.
Scales: OD Scales, Desert Tan G10 liners. Brass pins and lanyard hole. West Systems epoxy
OAL:10"
Lanyard-8 strand BCY B55 (bronze/black) bowstring. Held with copper wire wrap.
Not Pictured: Your choice of leather (color your choice as well), or kydex. Specify Right or Left side carry on leather sheaths. My kydex sheaths are modular and can be configured by the user.
Price: Sold shipped CONUS. Will discuss shipping international with the buyer.

If a customer receives a knife and is not satisfied, they may return the item to me for a full refund, including the return shipping. Knife must be returned in the condition received, with a postmark no more than 5 days after the date of delivery. In the event my knife fails due to material or workmanship, contact me directly.

Payment: Bank of America or Postal Money Order. Personal Check with time for clearance.

how big is the regular critter, I just curious since I got the little critter?

Thanks pittsteel!

A regular Critter has a 3.25-4" blade with a thickness of 3/16. The blade is also 1/4" wider than the small.

Maybe Justin can confirm this, but on my regular size Critter, there is a different steel used. Not sure if that's a standard or varies by supply.

Great knife , I've got it on my belt right now ...at work... As a computer engineer . In case things get lively ;)

Tbird, yes the big version is 1095 and the "regular" is 1080. How is she holding up in the wilds of the office?

It's 20 degrees outside. You never know. . .

Heat goes out, electric goes out ...mankind degrades to its lowest possible form ...

Definitely need a good all around camp knife with toxic green liners !
