Big day tomorrow...

Congratulations!!!

Being a father is one of the greatest of lifes experiences (of which I still have yet to enjoy).

Be ready to spoil her rotten:D......

I'll have a celebratory drink on behalf of your new addition to the family!

CHEERS!!!!

Little girls will soften even the hardest heart. They are truly a gift from God. Your life is about to change my friend... in a good way.

If you don't mind, I'll share some thoughts with you. Almost 12 years ago, my wife (at the time) gave birth to my daughter. Hands-down it was the most amazing and wonderful day of my life. I cannot explain in words the feelings I had that day. One thing for sure is that any feelings of selfishness you have will vanish that day... she will come first for the rest of your life.

If you are (and I think you are) a pretty masculine guy, you may be a bit concerned about having a girl. I was, well... disconcerted to say the least when I discovered I was having a girl. I mean, I'm an avid outdoorsman... a hunter, fisherman, rancher, etc... What the heck am I gonna do with a GIRL???

Well... I did nothing different than what i would do if she were not born a girl. I introduced her to my hobbies and she enjoyed them. She has been hunting, fishing, camping, feeding cows, etc... all her life and she loves it! She shot her 1st two deer this past season and I couldn't be prouder of her. She also likes the shopping, and all that girly stuff.

I'm warning her to stay away from boys and Busse's because they can both be addictive... but given the choice she should stick to Busse's ;) since boys have cooties and stuff. Busse's will break your wallet... but never your heart. They are always reliable.

Anyway... I guess my point here is to tell you to enjoy the moment. Enjoy all the moments, because in the blink of an eye she will be almost 12. Take lots of pictures.

Congratulations Dad! Love that little girl, and take care of mommy too! God bless...

Congratulations to both of you. It's a wonderful thing :thumbup:

Best wishes to you and yours

Congrats!

What's your family ethnic background? My wife is Colombian and that name is her choice for baby #2...when it happens!

Healthy, happy wishes from un in CT

Buy a video camera to record the next 10-15 years. It's worth having the real live action of video over a picture. Although pics are nice too.

Stepping up the "smoke and prayers" project to EPIC level.:D:thumbup:

Everything is going to go well. There will be no problems.

[Rats. Now I'm all nervous and everything!!]

D'ya think the doc will use infi to 'cut the cord?' I bet he'd crap his drawers if you pulled out an FBM to do the honours. Best Wishes bro.
