Big dumb mistake

hey guys,

never asked this before but i could use some positive thoughts my way.

can't go into specifics, but basically i got in a situation of my own stupid, irresponsible, 100% my fault doing and now i could be in huge trouble.

i screwed up, i made a mistake. don't know if asking for support is appropriate when someone has done something bad (no one got hurt or anything like that).

I'll send some smoke up for you. If no one got hurt, how bad can it be?

There have been a few times in my life where I quite literally would have preferred to die rather than face the consequences of my actions. Years later I laugh about this. You screwed up, you owned up to it, no one got hurt...consider it a learning experience.

I'd never toss you aside whatever dumb thing you did. I seriously doubt it could be any dumber than what I've been through...

I'll put in a good word to the Almighty on your behalf. I hope you're not in legal trouble, but we can get you through that too.

The only thing worrying does is give ya ulcers. Smoke and good thoughts for our man, Dave. I have done a lot of stupid things in my life. A LOT. However, the hardest person on me for ANYTHING I did was myself. To borrow from Kis, be gentle with yourself, friend.

Smoke sent for whatever. You'll be fine Dave. We generally beat ourselves up more than what anyone else does or can when we really screw up.

and remember "No autopsy, no foul". We've all done plenty of dumb things. I've done dumb things that should have killed me (or somebody else). In moments of irreverent optimism I like to think that God keeps me around because he finds my antics effing funny. I wish I had something profound to say, but I can only offer this: very few dumb mistakes can't be made right. You've been one of the good guys, here, for a long time. One lapse in judgment doesn't change that.

Keep your head up, bud, everyone's done dumbass things. Mine still haunt me sometimes, but you've got to give that up to where you want to learn that humility from. It seems you are taking responsibility for your mistake. Be proud of that. Many great men have'nt gotten that far. We're here for you and think no less of you.
 
Hopefully, nobody got physically hurt. I made a bad mistake a couple of years ago and got through it, although it certainly altered my vision of my future :(

We do what we do and hopefully get through it. Best of luck and keep us posted.
