Big dumb mistake

Will send smoke & prayers. Today's wrongdoing will later be regarded as "experience." Usually it is the only way to get any.

hey guys,

never asked this before but i could use some positive thoughts my way.

can't go into specifics, but basically i got in a situation of my own stupid, irresponsible, 100% my fault doing and now i could be in huge trouble.

i screwed up, i made a mistake. don't know if asking for support is appropriate when someone has done something bad (no one got hurt or anything like that).

 :(

Lord teacheth me humility.

Pics????;)

Everybody makes mistakes. It's good no one got hurt, and hope you are not penalized too badly.

Best wishes, we are your support group.

Of course it is! Best wishes and good thoughts sent your way Dave.

At least you know that you did something wrong. Forgive yourself---that's the hard part, but it's so very important! If you're like me you'll rake yourself over the coals worse than anyone else would anyway.

Let us know how you make out

Who here hasn't made a big life-altering mistake?

We all have....for some, it's a mere changing of the wind that'll do it...for others, it requires a boat paddle across the back of the head.

Whatever you're going through, Dave, you don't have to tread it alone.

Be an opportunist.....be grateful for the chance to humble yourself and make some changes in your life.

Still alive, ain'tcha?

It helps to talk, sometimes. But always remember - anything you say can, and will be used against you....:D
Smoke going up for you.

Like Dan said, every one of us has gotten or will eventually get "our turn in the box." We're still here for you, Dave.

You've got what I can spare right now Dave...

Kind thoughts.

I have a few stories like that. People usually say, "You did what?!" and then either laugh or look shocked. The few people I tell usually laugh and shake their head.

Some of the best learning experiences . (scratch that , not" best" and replace it with most profound ) have come from my biggest mistakes . While it is best to learn from observation I have often observed that it sometimes takes a whack over the head to open our eyes . As children we learn from experience . As we mature and hopefully become wiser we begin to learn through observation . When that occassional whack on the head comes along we may think we have backtracked when actually we have just proven we are human . Try to learn something from it and move on . Even if the lesson you learn does not become apparent at the same time the lesson is taught you still just move on and occassionaly think about it . Even if you don,t think you learned a new lesson you have, as you learned to be more thoughtful .

Been there done that, ... still doing that!! Best of luck and let us know if we can help.
