I used to be a big Emerson collector but my tastes have definitely gone in a different direction so I'm looking to move my no longer carried Emerson's at very reasonable prices. All include their original box. Each one has been modified slightly to suit my tastes, and the prices will reflect that.
CQC-15 -$125 SPF - Never carried, used, or sharpened. 2013 model with standoffs. Lockup is perfectly solid, about 60%. Centering spot on. Has a noticeable detent. Handle scales have been sanded down to reduce pocket shred. Pivot screw has been mirror polished. Detent ball track has been polished to increase smoothness, which shows up a little bit in the open position. Some body screws were accidentally given a satin finish while sanding the handles.
Horseman - $100 SPF - Carried and use very slightly, may be a few extremely minor scuffs on the satin finish as a result. Handles have been sanded, although less so than the other knives. Lockup is rock solid and early. Very smooth. Perfect centering, with a noticeable detent. 2012 model with backspacer.
Gentleman Jim - $125 SPF - The only knife purchased second hand. I have never used it up the previous owner may have, although it does not show aside from a slightly sharpened tip. 2012 model with backspacer. Centering is nearly perfect, can be adjusted easily to true it up. Lockup is late with a tiny bit of lock flex, but is completely safe. Very, very smooth with reasonable detent. Can be flicked open. Has a heat anodized USA Knifemaker deep carry clip and will ship with original clip. Scales have been sanded.
Commander - $125 spf - Never carried or used. Sharpened to a near perfect mirror edge on my Edge Pro, extremely sharp. 2013 model with standoffs. Pivot screw and bolt have been given a satin finish. Handles have been sanded. Lockup is rock solid in the middle. Centering is poor and will rub if opened by pressing down on the thumb disc, then out. Will not rub if downwards force is not applied to the thumb disc.
