Big Falcata Kukri chopper with sheath

[Kenon Rain]

This is one of my bigger blades.. ever

Steel is forge finished 5160, and the handle material is black g10..

The blade is about a quarter inch thick,
11.75" long, and 1.5" wide at the bulge.
The handle is about 5.25" long
So, total length is about 17"

The sheath is held onto the belt by the frog.. I really like this sort of construction.. and will probably be doing it this way from now on.

The knot is a little noose

The Ht was done very carefully in my longer forge.. I just brought it up to temp evenly, and quenched it in a medium quick oil, then tempered it for a cycle or two of 380'F
