Okay guys, I have a problem. Don't want to spend the money on a CRK, sight unseen, let alone handling one. What I want to know is, anyone in Idaho Falls, ID that would be willing to show me their CRK one piece fixed blade? I'm interested in the Project I and the Shadow IV mainly, but I want a feel for the handle, sharpness and blade thickness.

I had a gentleman in Rexburg show me some Busse knives and even let me chop a tree!

It was very COOL!

Shows how great this forum is.

I don't expect to chop or cut anything, just want to examine one up close.

Thanks!!

Hey Riley! Why don't you make a short trip (only about 300 miles!) over to this side of the state and visit the shop for yourself. Surely you can think of a reason to come to Boise? Maybe you can visit your seat of state government, the zoo, etc. If you call them first, they can tell you what they have available for you to touch. It might be a good time to get out of all that snow and rain and come to the banana belt of Idaho!

Just trying to be helpful.

That trip would end up costing about a third of the cost of the knife! I'd like to, though...

If you go to Boise, there is a city rule about drinking beer in Vets park. The cop just said,"go ahead and finish your beer."
I was watching the river go by from the bridge.
A nice day and an hour to spare.
I had tin and a gun, but it didn`t come to that.
