how about suggestions for a 5 inch blade folding knife? i'd like the handle around 6 inches and blade polished. thanx. jim
 
an older cuda maxx, or cold steel makes some larger ones, also Emerson has a few models that are that large but no polished blades with them really, just stonewashed.
 
appreciate that, EricV. is the cuda max out of production? had a sog pentagon II with dimensions i want but beadblast blade. sold it.
 
Big folder with polished blade? I think the Coldsteel Espada series will fit the bill.
And it has tri-ad lock, which is really trong locking mechanism...

If you can find one (discontinued), the Benchmade Skirmish. I have one and it is a BIG honking blade.. but carries really light with the thin profile and Ti Frame

Espada. Really the only choice I can think of right now. I don't think that big SOG comes close to matching it's awesomeness.
