As KeithAM said, he Ti handled 110 patterns are VERY nice also (with a very secure grip). And, if you put a "one-armed bandit" on there, you have a one-hand-opening Buck 110, which is, simply put, the beesknees.

I recall them being called "Buckbenzas."

Most large folding knives don't come with sheaths. My first choice for large a large folder is a Cold Steel Voyager with a 5-inch plain blade. It's an exceptionally good knife, tough with comfortable grips and a robust lockback design.

If you want an improvement on the Buck 110, get a Buck Alaskan 110. Same design, but with a premium S30V blade ($69), which is much better than the 420HC steel used in the standard 110's blade. It, too, comes with a pouch/sheath.

My personal choice would be the extra large Voyager, though, because it's strong, light, cuts very well and is reasonably priced. Get two, though, because you'll most likely want one for yourself.
