Up for sale today is a forged bowie with just a hint of recurve. The balance point is 1" in front of the scales which makes it quick in the hand for a knife this size, but still lots of chopping power.

I hope comments are okay. That is an amazing knife. Great size, style. Very old school looking. I'd snatch it up in a second if I could.

I second that.

I only wished my Canadian tax returns were in... It would give me some room to encourage another fellow Canadian ;-)

For whatever it's worth, as the owner of a couple of Bruce's pieces, his work is exceptional, especially if you're looking for a user. Clean, thin grinds that cut great but are very durable. And the sheaths are spectacular.

I have handled this knife, and had to put it down before I started chopping Bruce's table legs off:D........it feels good in the hand and makes you want to go cut stuff.
Nice work Bruce.
Darcy:)
