I wanted to post this thread so you can see what I have to offer in the way of custom knives. You can see samples of the models I offer on www.knifeshows.com/gossman I really prefer to make knives on order,that way you can choose blade style, handle style and handle material. The three current blade styles I offer are spear point, drop point and semi-skinner. I will do a clip if that's what you prefer. My basic handle materials are impala jigged buffalo horn and bone stag.I do have a blade ready to be finished, it is the same style as photo #6 on the site It has a 4 inch blade and 4inch handle. My SG-1 Ultimate Big Tool As stated in the biolog on the site is a 3 inch blade 4 inch handle photo# 3 and #7. The steel I use is D-2 3/16 thick by 1 1/2 inch wide. My knives are heavy but I feel it takes less effort to do game work with a heavier knife. My blade grind is convex. You can e-mail or call me ( contact info at end of site ) Thanks for looking, Scott
