Recommendation? Big heavy and simplistic folders which are easy to clean?

Today I have a different question than usual. After recent attempts to disassemble, clean, and put back together some of my folders I am wondering if there are some big, heavy liner locks that are fairly to disassemble.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts on this.

Not technically a liner lock, but it's the same basic concept. Microtech Socom Elite

Thanks everyone. A couple of these knives recommended are ones I am not familiar with.

Just out of curiosity, which folders have you been trying to do this on?

I took my Sere 2K apart once. I highly don’t recommend it.

It turns out I kept it pretty clean fully assembled. It hardly had any gunk inside it at all.

You specifically mentioned liner locks in your OP. Is that the only lock type you are considering atm?

Price range?

A frame lock with pillar construction is probably the easiest to disassemble, clean, and put back together.

Any large Cold Steel folder equipped with the Triad lock would meet your requirements.

Sebeza 21 is designed to be taken apart and cleaned by the user, as well as the CRKT Onion Field Strip line of knives.

There are more screws involved than the obvious choice of Sebenza, but my favorite quality is shared in the Microtech Socom Elite. There is no tuning to be done. You just tighten down every screw all the way and it's good to go. Even the pivot. No tweaking to be done. Fantastic knife too. I think one of the best values out there for what you're getting.

The manual's are starting to dry up and there's a rumor they're going back into the vault for a while, production-wise.

I have a thought !

Maybe not relevant exactly , but I personally prefer to use a super easy to clean fixed blade for really dirty chores .

Hardly ever do I fully disassemble a folder unless it badly needs repairs . ;)

Really only "large", compared to the smaller version of itself.

But simple and heavy, with a 3/16" blade, and framelock construction, which means 2 fewer pieces than a liner lock.

Now if you really want to throw money at this problem, go check out the Extrema Ratio RAO.

Make sure you pay a reputable dealer the nearly $500 (!) it takes to buy an authentic one, because Chinese copies do exist, and they're not nearly as skookum.

Yes, it's a steep buy-in, but it's one of the few folders which was intended from the start to be bashed against things and survive.
