Big honkin' damascus bowie - Cashen style.

This was REALLY good quality from stem to stern. I especially like the treatment of the handle to the fittings. Never a mismatch.

Derrick (Wulf) - The grain is super smooth, but yes, it was buffed. Really A+ Ironwood.

The sheath dresses it up elegantly. It's a black-tie affair... ;)

Thanks, Roger, and congrats. Well done Kevin.

DAMN!

I have been excited to see it ever since our email Roger.

TOP NOTCH!!! :D

Kevin knows how to make 'em big, yet feel super light and whicked in hand.

It was one of Kevin's big bowies that STeven owns that helped prompt me to regrind that big Js test bowie of mine that you own. I KNEW a big bowie could have the formidable appearance but feel lean.

This is a stunning example of Kevin's skills in a very straight-forward package. GREAT lines, beautiful steel, super handle with those elegantly relieved mating edges, and gorgeous accents with the damascus fittings.

Fantastic work by Kevin and great score for you Roger!!!

Thanks very much for your comments, gents.

Nick - funny how things come full circle - when I picked up Kevin's knife the feel really made me think of yours.

Roger

Sweet knife and sheath combo, Roger!

It looks incredible and to be a piece of highly functional artwork. Whether you want to clear a field, kill and dress a feral hog, or send potential threats of life and limb to reevaluate their choices with the Creator and look intensely stylish the entire time, Kevin's bowie will fit the bill. The sheath looks great as well (what little I can see).

Wish I could look at it without thinking "Take that, status-quo and anti-intellectuals! pwn'd!" :( Alas... pwn'd!
