big knives on a budget

A WWII Khukuri that I picked up on ebay, when the owner of a now defunked online Khukuri sales site was liquidating his inventory. It's a great chopper. Much better than any of my knives. Cost was $30.00 shipped.

Dexter Russell Sani-Safe.
9" blade for about $20 (although mine was free). I'm thinking of getting some Kydex for this one.

i got a steal on a leuku at a gun show a few months ago. paid $35 for somthing that is usually 50 euros.

other than that, trams. fun to mod too.

kabar heavy bowie also looks pretty nice for very little money.

cold steel also makes some good cheap choppers.

Gotta give this one to the 12 inch Tram. although there are some good buys on KaBar and Ontario. We get pretty good buys from our resident Knife Makers.

I have a few Cheap Choppers (cheap but good quality) :D

This is mine. Yeah it weighs two pounds, yeah it is cumbersome, yeah it will chop!
I don't think I'll break it either.
It came shaving sharp out of the box. I actually did shave with it. I really need to get a new straight razor but what the heck, it worked fine.
