Sorry, do not use wood and glue anymore.
To much problems even when wood is stabilised.

Micarta and G10:
1. does not change dimensions
2. does not affraid of water, acids, oils and so on..
3. screws allow to put changes into the knife once made quite easily

1 + 2 + 3 = more useful and non problematic tool which I make.

How rust resistant is O2 compared to your M390 steel? I live in a wet humid environment (Louisiana) and I usually won't get anything but Stainless. Thanks AD.

NONE ;)

O2 has about 0.4% of Cr (just enough to be harden in oil) and M390 20% ;)

You need about 12-14% of Cr inside (dissolved chromium) to call steel STAINLESS.

You must look for M390 or Elmax knives to have "nonmaitenance knife" :)

regards

Adam
