May sound crazy but I love big (about 4 inch or longer blade), loud click upon lock up blades. Not only loud and big blade, but also heavy weight ones. Some of my current favorites are CS Spartan, BM Bedlam, Boker Resurrection, and ZT 0200.

Anyone else here like these features too? If so, what are your favorites?

All my Cold Steel models , 3.5 inches and up, make a solid "thwack" when opening up. That triad lock is something.

Yes there is something about the Holdout I can really appreciate; it's just such a great usable knife and pocketable. I can carry it all day even with the clip removed and it's no big deal
I don't carry it often 'cause it is only about twice the legal length here

I carry a Razelized and shortened CS Ti Lite VI in CTS-XHP as a work knife. As seen at this LINK > > > fourth photo down.
Yeah . . . when I open it everyone in the room and in the next room knows it.
WhackClack !

On the same but opposite note I appreciate my 710 for how quiet and subtle it deploys. Pretty big knife and I could open it at the movie theater and nobody would even notice.

The sound of my Cold Steel 4-MAX could wake up the dead.:D
My wife can hear the lockup of the CS AD10 in the back bedroom. Says it sounds like I’m cocking a gun (racking the slide on my 1911) in the den.
The Gayle Bradley 1 is thwack city also.

I never really thought about whether I "liked" it or not, but my Kershaw Link with the M390 blade is pretty loud when it locks open. Probably has something to do with how fast it opens....
You can't really limp grip it when opening.. it will jump out of your hand. It also has some weight to it, with the aluminum scales...

As mentioned already , about any of Cold Steel's Tri-ad lock models . But generally the bigger and heavier the blade and the faster you can get it moving , the more loud .

I don't have the hugest XL Espada , but I'd guess that's got be be the loudest . :)

Note that all of these can be opened very quietly , when desired .
