Nice work !!!!!! I like how you engineered the connection throught he belt loop.

Thanks, Pit

Andy, I made a mock up first and noticed the knife could slide up and down the straps, so I made a strip of leather to hold the sheath in place.

In the future I might replace some of the snaps with rivets, but for now I have a large foot operated snap machine and 1000's of snaps.

Great craftsmanship there! That rig looks very comfortable to wear. Nice job.

oh mannn, gotta get stuff back from NS, I need to make some baltric rigs, you guys are horrible making posts like this. :D

Somthing else too, when I had one made for my Nimravus I found attaching a small caribianer to it to connet to a belt loop to keep the rig from sliding was handy.

You did what I was thinking about with the rings for attachment points.

I think the most crucial part is the piece that hooks onto the belt loop. It's good to have something that can work with any sort of belt loop and baldric.

Thanks! You are still the king of leather work around here though! :D

Nice job, Mark.

The fact that the knife can slide around is one of the things I like about the Baldric - it can be pulled around to the front if you're pulling the knife in and out often, like when you're working on a 2-handed project, or it can be pushed around behind you when the need arises. Different strokes............
