I don't make many big knives mainly because I don't like to spend that much time on just one project.
I can see this one used in camp for cooking and than carried in a day pack to snip a few briers away from the deer stand. At least that's the way I would put it to use.
3/16 1095 steel
Flat ground with a short clip
Finished with a fine Scotch Brite and followed up with mustard and gun blue.
Cocobolo handle with a black spacer
Overall length: 12 3/4 inches
Blade: 7 3/8 inches
Riveted scabbard
