Posting early thar Gerry. Early to bed, early to rise makes an ole knifemaker healthy weathy and wise. Hmmm don't know so much about the wealthy. What do you think??? Looks good Gerry. Mike

Nice score Skinny! I have a similar one that I got from Mr. Drew a while back. It is incredible!

Well, maybe the healthy part works. Did you hear about the bladesmith who won the ten million dollar lottery? He says he will keep making knives until it is all gone.

I am sorry that I missed that.........Just out of curiosity- how wide/thick is that handle?

Bill

It's gone, Bill so I can't measure it but it was forged from 1/4 inch stock so it would be close to 1/4 inch at the spine: the only forging I do along the spine near the handle is to texture. The stock was 1 3/4 inch deep so I would guess that the finished knife was just over 2 inches deep.
Thanks for your interest.

Yeah, thanks! I'm stoked to try this one out. Not much of a "big ol' chopper" kinda guy, but I'm a sucker for forge scale left on the blade and for something undervalued (IMO) like this blade.

Really looking forward to chopping cinder blocks and steel t-posts with it (ha!).

I'll be happy to give it a thorough measurement when it comes. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks Skinny. I am a Bolo fan and this one looks a bit like some I have had... maybe a clip point bolo golok drop on the handle.

Very good looking knife.

The knife came last week and is gorgeous. It looks and feels perfect in hand. Thanks for a great transaction.
