The blade had been hanging in my shop for a couple of years; I guess it was time that I finished it.
Forged from 5160 because of it's toughness
Heat treated to Rc 58-60 with attention to a fine grain. You will see a quench line at the plunge. I did this to leave the tang slightly softer than the blade.
