tang was maybe 7/8" tapering down to about 3/8 or so
tang goes back about 3/4 of the handle
you can baton and chop with it
its has a good cutting geometry
Balance point is about 2-1/2" from gaurd, blade heavy
The weight is 1 lb 5 oz
