Forged from 5160 steel for it"s toughness
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace with three normalizing and two tempering cycles to Rc 58-60 producing a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Stabilized, spalted and dyed curly maple handle with carbon fiber spacers
Overall length: 15 inches
Blade: 9 1/2 inches
Thickness at the index finger is approximately 1/4 inch with a distal taper to the tip and butt
Weight is 1 pound 2 ounces
Leather scabbard with a belt loop big enough for a gun belt. Right hand carry.
