Anyone have this knife? I know that the li'l Rascal was a bit of a gimmick knife and fun to play with. How is this "toy"?

TIA,

Greg, I'm still playing with the lil rascal you sent me, thanks again. I still think that the best gimmick out there right now is the Speed Safe. It is fun and functional on my little mini-task, but it seems to make people jump when used on the Boa. Go figure

This is an interesting mid size folder. For $35 it actually isn't bad. I got one the other day and have been carrying it.

First of all you can open this several ways. The most interesting is the serrated tang that you basically flip open with a single finger. Faster than any auto I have played with. The blade also has an oval hole ala Spyderco and you can just flick your wrist and it pops open.

There is no blade play at all. This suprised me since the Little Rascal had a bunch. The knife has a liner lock recessed into the fiberstein scales. Passed the spine whack test. Blade is AUS8 and pretty darn sharp...nice grind on the blade. Pocket clip is stainless steel and is very low riding in the pocket.

The negatives: The pivot does not seem adjustable, the handle is a bit on the light side with no liners other than the lock. The pocket clip is only on the right side and it gets hung up in my right rear pocket a lot when retrieing. But heck...it is only $35! Not a bad buy if you ask me if your budget is tight and you want a decent folder. And it is designed by Blackie Collins.
