I thought most poisons cause degradation of blood vessels resulting in massive internal hemorages.

It's an anti-coagulant that's usually mixed with something nice and abrasive to tear up the digestive tract :barf:

This is one reason that poisons shouldn't be used in locations where other animals may kill the poisoned rat and eat it, or feed on its body after it kicks. The poison will just make its way up the food chain, if you know what i mean.
