Hey there knife people. I have two knives today from my Broken Branch Clay and Steel workshop. They were really fun to make and I am proud to offer them to you. I hope you like them. These two knives started the same and look quite similar, but are very different upon examination.
Knife 1
Big Red knife specs
3/16" 1084 steel with professional heat treatment by the Paul Bos shop.
OAL: 10 1/2"
Blade: 5 1/2"
Convex grind with small recurve
Chili pepper micarta scales
Black vulcanized liners
45 micron grit belt finish
Knife 1, Beefy Big Red, is a bushcrafty hacker type camp knife with a false edge up front that improves the balance. It is not sharpened to facilitate baton wood splitting and other camp chores along with the safety factor provided by the false edge. This one has plenty of high carbon steel and will be a blast to wield. Finger choils allow a forward hold for finer work and the jimping helps provide a secure grip. A super good click in-click out retention kydex sheath with belt clip is provided.

Black Beauty knife specs
3/16" 1084 steel with professional heat treatment by the Paul Bos shop.
OAL: 10 3/4"
Blade: 5 1/2"
Flat grind with sharpened swedge
Black canvas micarta
Red vulcanized liners
45 micron belt finish
Knife 2 is a dramatically lighter version of its convex cousin. It is a much faster, more agile knife with the slicing advantages of a flat grind. It is much more of a fighter type knife with the sharpened swedge for what I have been told saber duelers call a back cut or back slash. Forward finger choils and jimping help make various grips secure. A kydex sheath with belt clip is provided.

I provide the domestic shipping to your door and insurance. If a knife I make fails in normal use, I will repair or replace the knife.
