Bottom Jim Lofgreen scrim’d Josie Earp Dagger. This beautiful scrimshaw is done on mammoth ivory. The ivory has a few splits all have been repaired by Jim but 1. It happened after Jim passed away. The sheath is Claro walnut and nickel silver. I just noticed a light scratch on the nickel silver. Bottom Gilbert Norfleet Sub Hilt Fighter (Big Bear) This knife is extremely well executed. As you know Mr. Norfleet had had issues and you can see them here on Blade forums with delivery and promises. No worry here I have the knife and will ship it upon payment clearing. Sheath has a little imperfection on belt loop this how I received it. Does not affect function. Roberts Hunter is just shy of 12.5" overall. No sheath with this knife. This was one of the last knives Matt made and he told me he was not making sheaths anymore. Blade is just over 1/4" thick on spine and is a hand rubbed satin finish. not Belt finish.

Unfortanlty I am not really sure. I purchased this knife from Matt towards the end of him selling knives. there was not much communication. I had just always admired his work and read good things about his knives and wanted to get one before he stopped making them. I know he stated that the blade had a hamon but he really did not bother etching it to bring it out. He was wrapping up and winding down his knife making.

You really have to hold this knife in your hands to truley appreciate it. you will not be disappointed.

The only reason I am selling it is because my collection is being streamlined to only antique Bowies and English Bowies and due to a recent back injury I am unable to camp or backpack anymore and therefore i can't justify keeping it for that reason.

Hopefully whomever purchases this will use it and enjoy it. This is priced well below the cost.
