I don't know much background about this knife. I picked it up about a year and a half ago. It's a nice looking, great feeling knife, and it's a massive 16 3/4 in. The blade is 11 in. long, just over 1.5 in at the widest spot, and 1/4 in. thick. The thickness runs almost the full length of the blade up to the last 3 1/4 in. where it tapers in by way of a thick false edge. The finish has been left a rough forge type finish along the top of the blade, and the rest of the blade, looks like it was given a quick sanding or polishing. There are some scratches from sharpening, and like I said the blade looks like it was left a little rough all over anyway. The blade is unmarked other than a JZ on the left side. It looks like a convex edge and sharpens up quick. The guard is an unknown metal, but is very well done. Handle is an unknown hardwood with the top 1/2 in. made of bone. It's 5 1/2 in long. The overall fit and finish of the handle is nice with a good tight fit to the guard and blade. The sheath is solid and well put together. This is a great knife that feels and moves very nicely in the hand. Price is SOLD shipped CONUS. PayPal or money order. I'll eat the PayPal fees.
