I got the newest addition to my shop today, now i'm excited to be able to work the larger stock sizes and whatnot. I've got to make myself some dies for the bottom still though. Most of my hardy tools fit in the hardy hole in the bottom plate, but I dont have a flat plate hardy. I've got a piece of 1/2" plate the perfect size, but I dont have the ability at home right now to weld a post to the bottom of it.

Where's the motor????? That thing will make you sleep like a baby and build leg muscles like popeyes arms. :D Be sure you change legs every so often or your going to walk funny. :D:D

Happy hammer in.

It hits wicked hard but doesnt take much effort at all to get it down at all. So who wants to visit my shop and weld me up a flat-die for the bottom ? =D

The fellow who made the hammer in teh first place never actually used it after he made it. he got a job offer across the country and had to move and left it with another smith to sell for him.

I've got an AC buzz box which I picked up used earlier this year, but need to make myself an extension cable from my house to my shop in order to use, i've got no 220 in my shop =(

Cool machine. I can think of a couple of operations that that would realy come in handy on. Not the least of which is saving the old arm, which is one reason I built a press, but it's slow that thing looks like it wouldn't be much slower than most power hammers, and easy tooling use too boot!
