Elliott, Your Big (Over 5" is bigger than you think if you've never held one of these) Folding Hunter is the next big Schlieper i would like to acquire. I think they are fairly rare now as yours is only the second one i have ever seen.
Puukko, the big Swing Guard is the only one i have ever seen in nearly 5 years of looking. When i saw this one listed, i bid Very High and still needed luck as my bid only just won. But i have no regrets on spending what would have bought me a Custom or a whole bunch of other knives. It's such a commanding knife to hold i think i'll say to heck with collector value and use it this Fall when my bow gets me a nice Whitetail. Actually they are rare enough that i doubt it will loose much value.

Roland..that swinguard is just a fascinating knife...I believe you are very lucky to own that...absolutely lovey...can I keep a copy of a photo of your knife in my photo files please Roland?
Fartsmella....That soddie is a beauty for sure...both of you guys have two great knives...Elliots is one hell of a
stunner as well!!

Duncan, it's fine to save or use any pictures i post. I'm pleased you like this knife enough to want to save a picture(s).

Hi Roland, thank you...hey to be honest...EVERY knife that comes up...I have a double take at it, and the guys here who own them are pretty darn good, but this knife has realy interested me, I wont at all use the photo for anthing else but my own personal reference Roland...so Thank you Sir
Ps..I like the way they have made the swing guard to shape the bolster-gives it a lift rather than the "usual" generic styled Swing guard....such a cool knife, along with the most stunning jigging of that lovely bone in conjunction with the neat little nail pull next to the fuller....such a difference!!
I can understand why you would want to bid higher for this beauty!
