Big single blade folding hunters? Which ones?

How large did you want it? 4 5/8" blade?

In Cocobolo, Rucarta (Russell Micarta) or Delrin:

I've got the 2009 Texas Ranger version in black. For me there is no more serious Folding Hunter.

This one just came into my hands this week. It fits the bill, quite nicely, I should say.

Marbles coke bottle hunter: made in 2002, in Gladstone, Michigan, USA. It's 5 3/16" closed with a big honkin' blade of D2 steel, lovely green bone covers, and a pinned shield (!!!). Pull is about a 6 or 7, with solid half stop. The spring is flush in all three positions. This one is out of the ballpark in terms of fit & finish, GEC or Schatt level of quality.

WOW! I love the Texas Ranger! I can go up to around a 5 inch blade. Didn't know there was such a thing as the Texas Ranger

The Texas Ranger is a cool knife. But that version can only be found on EBay every now and then. But the wood. micarta and delrin versions are really available.
