Big Sky - your thoughts on it...

I noticed there are a couple of Buck Big Sky knives on ebay and like the looks of them. I'm just wondering what your experience with this model has been.

The one I have has a cut out in the blade, so I keep it on display. I like the size and shape. It's a bit smaller than the Vangard and would make a good user/edc. The sheath has a boot clip rather than a loop if that makes a difference to you. good luck. guy
 
I have the BigSky and find it to be a great little user. The belt clip works well for me as I can quickly clip it to a belt or just to clothing. The knife has a large belly - broad blade - that makes it a great cutter with plenty of control for skinning etc. but not so good for 'making holes'. Its a very solid knife and comfortable in the hand. The size and weight make it comfortable to carry all day and a great compromise for an all rounder.
