This one is SOLD forged from a truck spring.99% sure it is 5160.It heat treated just like 5160 and has been throughly use tested.

It has an easy to maintain Scotch Brite belt finish. Also has a couple forge spots, thus the belt finish.Aprox 10" blade 1/4" thick and 2" wide at the widest point.Aprox 16" overall. Brass hardware black spacers and a polished Elk handle. All the soft pith was removed from the Elk handle and it was filled with Acraglass.
SOLD $275 SOLD for this nice forged user.Comes with the RH sheath pictured.

Incredible amount of swoop in that entire shape---knife looks like it's moving! Very well done.

Report from the new owner---this is, in spite of its weight, one of the most "alive" feeling bowies I've tried, including several from very big names in the knife world. Could easily lop off a tree limb, and then turn around a spear a grape with great accuracy. Yes, I tried it. :D

Though it has a "working" finish (scotchbrite) on the blade, the F&F with the guard, the symmetry of the grind lines and just overall execution are excellent.

Watch this gentleman's work, and buy now while it's underpriced.
