Well, it's been about 7 months since I made my last bowie knife. It's been years since I made one this big! I'm just about finished with it. It still needs some work but I wanted to take pictures before it got too dark. The blade is 10 5/16" long, 5160 steel, walnut handle, steel guard. I'll be making a leather sheath for it tomorrow. I appreciate any comments. Thanks for looking.

I think you need to make big bowies a little more often! I like it!

Ray, That is a very nice Bowie, the attention to detail is awesome, Love the walnut scales, don't see much stuff made out of walnut anymore at all.

Guys thanks for the comments. I really apreciate them:thumbup:. I spent a lot of time on this knife. Already more time than I should. I do like the way it turned out though. Overall it was fun but more work than I'm used to putting into one knife:o.

Ray, you definitely have "it." The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Terrific knife. Congrats.

Ray that is one awesome Bowie, the best one yet I would say and that is saying something!!

I love everything about it, Walnut handle with the domed pin certainly gives it some class and the guard is real nice.:p
