Biggest job with a multi-tool?

Bob, good luck with your beautiful cat! It looks just like one at my inlaw"s place years ago. I always thought it was the neatest cat I ever saw, and always wished it was mine.My wife has always disliked cats, but liked that one very much. It was a mouser and lived in the barn.

Kita is an amazing cat. She has always had an independent streak, but she takes care of anyone who seems to need it, including humans, cats, and even our dogs. Even at sixteen she loves to chase little balls of foil around the floor or play pounce-and-run games with the other cats or dogs. And every night she curls up on the pillow next to me or, sometimes, my wife.

Thank you for the kind words and support!

To answer an earlier question, the tumor is external and is on her, um, posterior.

And my sincere apologies for hijacking this thread. If I had been thinking at all clearly I would have started another one.

A couple stand out as large jobs, at the time i didn't think it was a big deal for either.

Installed new antennaes and radios on landing craft while on a deployment with an original PST.

A few years installed and set up a Xerox 4050 laser printer. No big deal unless you consider it was shipped in 3 sections. Used a Leatherman Supertool for that.

Just wanted to let you folks know that Kita came through surgery like a champ. Preliminary testing suggests that the tumor was benign, but it is being sent off to a lab for thorough testing. We should have definitive results some time next week.

Our whole family would like to thank you for all the support!

Racked my brain...., and although I've carried an old Leatherman (and now a "Juice") around for many years.., I can't come up with anything I'd consider a big job I ever used one for.

I've certainly got a lot of use out of a few multi-tools though...

She is now sixteen and still going strong.
I have a 16 year old cat that could be your cat's twin sister. I hope everything turns out OK.
