Well, the biggest one to come out of my shop anyway.

Forged from 1/4 inch 5160
Flat grind
Tapered tang
Hand sanded finish to 600 grit
Stabilized premium curly maple handle
Overall length: 13 1/2 inches
Blade: 8 1/2 inches
Riveted leather scabbard

Great job on that beast, Gerry. I really like the blade design also. That will make someone a great knife. I do have a question for you. What kind of finish did you do on the sheath and how did you do it, I really love the way that looks.

I did this one with a gun cleaning patch. I dipped the patch in the dye and then kind of boogered it on in a random pattern. I have also done a wood grain look with on old stiff paint brush. Some guys use a sponge too. Give it a a try and use your imagination.
