Biggest knife regret?

I was out doing children's ministry at the projects...playing with the kids. Lost my BM AFCK with the spydie hole. Some little kid in the gheto has a nice knife. :(

Also, had my Chinese Lum folder lifted from my appartment when some shmucks came in to do weather-proofing stuff. Didn't realize it until a couple of days later, and they were already back out to Cali.

about 15 years ago my cousion gave me a knife for christmas. It was a favorite of mine to this day. I think it was a kershaw, but not for sure. Nothing fancy, but just one that was right for me. Never have been able to find one like it. Will keep looking. lol

Selling my large Seb, and trading the small one. Don't know what I was thinking. Should have kept those two, and sold all my other folders...

I also sold a Dozier, Pro Guide's Knife (actually sold 2 of them).
The 2nd was really nice, thumb grooves and the natural color micarta handle.
I'm considering another one now, maybe a smaller blade for EDC.

A Hankins bowie. I regret trading it, especially since it was my first custom bowie. I don't really think about stuff I lost through my own stupidity though.

My only regrets are the knives I gave away, traded, sold that are no longer made and will become collectors items one day.

Who knew--

Right now I have two MT's put away.
The LCC and Socom are now collectors for me and will not be brought to bear [worn] again.

Losing an Al Mar Sting and trading a Gerber Bolt action. The Gerber wasn't anything special but held an edge and the lock was virtually idiot proof. That was a major plus at the time:D

At least you didn't make that mistake SIX times  :grumpy: :( :)

And yes, that's my biggest regret as well...

Buying a 941D2CF instead of saving for an R.W. Clark Model 1, Trace Rinaldi Matrix, or lefty small Classic Sebenza.

It's not going anywhere, but it was money that could have been better spent.

Mine was a cheapy but I never got around to replacing it. My sister got me an Uncle Henry with the stag type scales for my birthday (it looked like the Schrade Middleman). I had it all through middle and high school and then my senior year in high school some jerk in my Woods shop class stole it. I left it on work bench and turned my back, a couple minutes later it was gone. It is definitely the knife that I miss the most.

No regrets. All the knives I wanted I have (not many). Those which I am looking for are on their way. It's the journey that is important. Along the journey, I made a lot of great friends.

:) :)

I've lost quite a few knives myself but the knife I lost I still don't know if I accidently threw it away or it got stolen. My buddy Jeff gave me his Gerber MKII when I ETS'd out of the Army. He had bought right after we finished basic, ait, and jump school together and I thought the knife was bad ass when he got it. I ended up polishing it up and making a display case for it along with some of my other Army stuff and it sat aroiund for a couple of years. We moved and I packed away the display case with the knife and forgot about it. I went to look for it a couple of months ago and still can't find it. :P

You know after I posted this I satrted to think about all the stuff I've lost over the years... Very depressing to say the least. Right behind the knife I just spoke about was this sweet looking Rolex Sub-Mariner fake I traded a guy for when I was in the service. This watch was almost a perfect fake that had a real Rolex bezel and stainless band. Man I miss that watch.

I sold a large Jerry Fisk Camp knife a while back. That, in of itself, is a regret. The fact that I cannot get another one(at least not easily or inexpensively) compounds the frustration.
