hey guys.
sorry i havent been on here.. been kinda busy
*laughs* and no.. while i wanted to rebuild it, there were other things in play, and so, i am parting it out. (and it would have been over 2K to fix it. and i am a bargain king. more stuff was broken than i thought. but i will be getting another one. however, it scared a young lady pretty bad.. and she asked if i would wait for a bit. and like you said, bikes arnt worth loosing people over.

and as for the forks breaking.. they hit one of those metal supports for a gaurd rail.. like right on the corner.. i guess physics just took over. and God was Definatly looking over me. there is no reason i should have gone into that gaurd rail. but he kept me safe. and there you go..

i shall ride again!
and the primary chain is looking.. promising (though i dont like how the end product looks
thanks!
~Chris

That bike looks perfect for practicing wheelies!! I'm glad that you got off so lucky, I crashed my vx800 at Ft. Benning after I returned from Desert Storm. Lost most of my left kneecap and all of the tendons and ligaments that hold it together. broken arm and ribs at the same time. bad bad bad. knee still hurts every day...still riding...stupid stupid stupid...:D
